Hi! I’m Angela Luisa,
A creative daydreamer, lover of all foods and mother of two cheeky chappies!
My passion for creativity started way back as a child when art and design was my favourite pastime. I always knew that it would play a large role in my adult life as I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
I’ve been a professional graphic designer since 2008 and in that time I’ve worked both as an in house and agency designer. My graphic design experience spans across a wide variety of industries, from working on projects for small local businesses to large corporations such as Halifax, Virgin Media and TalkTalk.
Becoming a Mum brought about the perfect circumstances for a change, and the life of a Freelance Brand Designer seemed to be the perfect way to continue my career whilst still allowing for quality time with my family.
It has opened a door for me to become the authentic designer I’ve always wanted to be, focusing on the industries that truly inspire me: hospitality, boutique, beauty, and wellbeing.
Brand design is not just making something look pretty.
For me, understanding the key messaging of any project and who the messaging is targeted to is so important before starting any design process. From here it’s possible to design pieces that successfully meet the client’s needs and wants, because these key factors greatly influence the look and feel of a brand. Failing in doing so risks not getting the desired response from their target market.
When it comes to business, I’m a big believer in following your passion while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. That’s why I’m passionate about helping my clients do the same—supporting them to follow their dreams, wake up each day running a business they love, with a brand presence they can truly be proud of.
